Success of the Misaki Ito 1 (伊東美咲1を成功)

The Misaki Ito 1 worked beautifully.  The experiment was successful.  It held 200 kg (440 pounds).  It could have held even more weight.  It was also very stable in the water.  This would have been a good way to move basalt logs.  Now, on to the next step.

I'm sorry to hear that you are stressed, but from the viewpoint of an observer, it does sound exciting and fun!
Are we a step closer to solving the sorcery of Nan Madol's megaliths?

Now I must get back to writing my CV, ugh, depressing.

Wait - it is exciting. And yes, maybe one piece of the puzzle is falling into place. But tell me why writing your CV is depressing?

Because I have a gaping blank of 13 years on my CV. It really does make one feel inadequate and lacking qualification when looking for a job. Sure, I do have a number of research papers that I can cite, but what good is that now?
It's kind of scary, trying to find a job after all these years. But I also know I need to start something.

Oi! You're not inadequate - just a bit rusty. Plus, you now have 13 years of life experience that can be very beneficial to problem-solving strategies. You are non-conventional applicant - find a non-conventional company. Some employers will be dismissive - others not so much. If they're young, they just don't get it. If they're old, they should know better. And if anyone of them is disparaging to you then get angry and give them an earful.

Did I ever tell you that you are my rock, just a peasant?
You've made me feel much better, thank you. :)

#Let's just hope that I haven't rusted-out to the core!

Ooooo - that's so sweet! Thank you. And look - you only "rust to the core" when you relinquish your imagination. I think you're a long ways from that. Fresh ideas - that's what keeps us moving forward.
