Mangrove

I took a photo of this mangrove forest at low tide.  The view seemed to reflect my current life rather poignantly.  Firstly, my putting roots down in a new community.  Secondly, the multiple research projects I have engaged in.  Lastly, the increasing difficulty I have, on the internet, of just being myself or of expressing a simple thought.  

I sat there quietly and wondered - will the next tide completely submerge my desire to interact with other human beings?
