About Me
- Name: Just a peasant
- Location: in the Land of the Lotus Eaters
First a bass guitarist, then a biologist, now college faculty, as well as a medical student, and still anonymous. But it is still quite an adventure and I would rather die a man of great knowledge than a man of great wealth - even if it means living as a peasant.

dear just-a-peasant, the palm trees in the back suggest this is not Tokyo but Okinawa or another south-Japanese place. Also the blossoming flowers (azalees ?) in front of the building don't look like Tokyo in March.
I have been to Tokyo ones in early spring time, and although it is not as cold as Europe, I remember that in Ueno Park the gardeners put little umbrellas over the blossoming peonies. Around there was snow, but under the umbrellas the peonies were in full blossomes. The Japanese are dedicated gardeners, and they manage to turn the smallest spot into a little biotop.
Good luck with the new challenge at New Tokyo Med College.

Thank you Michael. You're correct of course, we are not in Japan. It's actually Kolonia, Pohnpei. The name has a connection to the college president that studied medicine in Japan and even with the main street which was referred to as the "Ginza of Micronesia" when the Japanese had colonized it during the 20th century.
*Big smile*
I wonder where this new path will lead you to. Wishing you all the best.
#"Colonization by the Japanese" makes me cringe with remorse and horror; they couldn't have done any good, surely. Sigh...
Ayano xxx.
Thank you Ayano.
Congrat JP, that's so cool. Good luck
Thank you Hiva!
