The One-Sided Man

How can a man
carrying a sparkling ruby
pick up a beautiful sapphire
if he has only one hand?

How can a man
enjoying the dazzling sunset
turn and watch a mysterious sunrise
if he has only one eye?

How can a man
listening to the whisper of falling snow
hear melodies in the winds of the moon
if he has only one ear?

- Only by losing something already precious to him.
Just a peasant
